Knight-Thon Fundraiser
For this project, I designed a custom event shirt for Theta Tau, the engineering fraternity at UCF, to wear at Knight-Thon—a campus-wide dance marathon supporting Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The shirt was created in honor of a specific child, Owen, who the fraternity was dancing for.

FUNDRAISER – EVENT T-SHIRT DESIGN
For this project, I designed the official event T-shirt for Knight-Thon, a student-led fundraising event supporting children’s healthcare. The design needed to feel energetic and community-focused while representing the mission of the fundraiser and the spirit of the event.
Design Challenge
Because the shirt would be worn by many participants, the design needed to remain visually impactful while still being simple enough for screen printing and clear from a distance during the event.
Solution
I focused on bold shapes, strong contrast, and simplified graphics to ensure the design printed cleanly and remained recognizable in large group settings. The shirt was ultimately worn during the event, where participant Owen from Theta-Tau raised the highest amount of funds, highlighting the strong community engagement behind the fundraiser.

The design was developed based on the client’s goals for the event, focusing on an energetic and community-centered look that represented the spirit of the organization while remaining clear and effective for large-scale screen printing.

EVENT
To showcase the final design in its real-world setting, I included event photography highlighting participants wearing the shirt during the fundraiser. These images demonstrate how the design functioned in the live event environment and reflect the strong community engagement surrounding the campaign.
