OMEGA
OMEGA is a bodybuilding magazine concept I developed as a student, focused on merging powerful visuals with clean editorial layout. The process began with in-depth research into fitness media trends, followed by crafting a bold visual identity that reflects the grit, discipline, and legacy of bodybuilding.

BODYBUILDING COVER
Omega is a conceptual fitness magazine designed to celebrate the history and culture of bodybuilding. The layout combines bold typography, archival imagery, and editorial storytelling to highlight the evolution of the sport—from its golden era roots to the modern stage
Design Challenge -
Because the project covers multiple eras of bodybuilding, the visuals and imagery vary significantly in style and quality, which made it difficult to maintain a consistent visual identity across the magazine, and especially the cover.
Solution -
I established a consistent grid system and typography hierarchy to unify the pages, while using color accents and layout rhythm to guide readers through the timeline of the sport.

This editorial spread contrasts two bodybuilding legends from different eras: Chris Bumstead and Ronnie Coleman. The design emphasizes scale, power, and legacy through strong visual hierarchy, dramatic photography, and typography inspired by classic fitness publications.

THE GOLDEN SPREAD
This spread explores the history of Gold’s Gym, the birthplace of modern bodybuilding culture. The design uses structured grid layouts and vintage-inspired visuals to highlight the gym’s influence on the sport and its iconic role during bodybuilding’s Golden Era.
